Her love is true

by Ashley   Apr 23, 2006

The wind blows cold,
She sits in the rocker,
Creaking, because it's old.

She watches the trees,
Shaking, from the wind.
And from the trees,
Off fall it's leaves.

Hearts are broken,
Words are left unspoken.
Tears fall down,
Smiles turn to frowns.

She waits for him to return,
And yet she knows,
That it's not her he yearns.

She will wait forever,
Even if people tell her to give up,
She will never.

And so she sits and waits,
Rocking in that chair.
She will always wait for her true love,
To step upon those stairs.

Though his love may not be true,
I know she will always love you.
