You & I

You sat and watched me from afar,
I'd always catch your glance.

You sat and dreampt all day long,
I'd always give the chance.

You sat in the same place as I'd joke with a friend,
I'd always see you there your unique style and trend.

You sat there and stared so cute and so fine,
I'd never actually realized that you could be all mine.

You found the courage to move and then to talk to me,
I'd always had a thing for you but it's pretty hard to see.

You got what you wanted in the very end,
And I'd figured it out I've got a man and a friend.
