Mystic shadows

by katie!   Apr 23, 2006

Mystic shadows in the background of an old forgotten room
Forbidding and dangerous they stand
Where a lady died in august and a murderer store his kill
Where two lovers lay together hand in hand

But all the time the shadows watch them, Etched so gently on the wall
With a passion burning deeply with desire
Surrounded by mystery, tragedies and love
Burning with an ethereal fire

They loom above the hallways and throughout your brand new home
A presence which you feel while in the cold
Forbidding and dangerous they stand just looking on
Neither colourful or pretty, new or old

Mystic shadows in the corner, in the corner of your eye
Where you see them watching you every day
What are these mystic shadows? are they hear for our own good
Should we embrace them or try to make them go away...

Great peice, though in the 3rd stanza i got a little lost.. but i think this may just have been due to my lack of reading ability lol. other than this i saw no flaws, the peice is well written with clear content and good use of vocab and description thoughout.
