Falling

by Brytanee   Apr 23, 2006

Forever, you sit and wonder if you should take that chance, that risk, that jump. Go up to him and ask for his name, talk to her and get her number. And when you take the first step.. you slowly move to the next and inch closer and closer to the edge of the cliff. Every once and a while you look down and ask yourself if its worth it. if it would hurt. finally you realize that there will be someone down there to catch you. and you jump.

you say "i love you."

And then you fall. And the whole way down you ask yourself why the HELL you jumped. Because some of us don't get that lucky to have someone who will catch you and who will jump with you. You just jump and fall. and those 3 little words fall with you. And its like you have nothing to look forward to. Because you just go straight down and drop. and when you hit the ground, you shatter, and its hard to get back up. you finally take a chance and do what you have been scared to do, and it ends up being your worst fear come true. Then you get scared. either you are getting over it.. or starting to. after a few months, and you question love. Is it worth it. You got hurt the first time, what about the next time? is it worth it taking another risk? another jump?

but thats how you learn. and how you live. taking those jumps, and falling. taking the jumps and hitting the ground. taking the jumps.. and having someone there to catch you.
