Springtime's child

by Sarah   Apr 25, 2006

Bellow the sullen winter trees
Springtimes child calmly breathes
Shakes his head at all he sees
Awaits God's timely summer breeze
To thaw this everchanging land

There is no time for summer play
Springtimes clearing summer's way
His deadline being end of May
Refreshing winters stale display
Soon summer trees will proudly stand
