The Ghostly Pianist

by Curran   Apr 26, 2006

Such beauty and pain felt in this music
i watch slowly as your hands move up and down the keys with such grace
I imagine myself playing so beautifully
but all I'm left with is the visual of the one i've noticed for many a time
you sit there, putting all your passion, heart into what you play
I imagine the two of us, dancing ever so closely in the misty air, breathing and taking each other in
snap
I'm back to reality
there you are..
coming into the final bridge
what beauty and grace i see in your face
I cry
I wish you would look at me even just a little bit
just to see what it is that I'm offereing
if only for a second in the world we could meet eyes, and connect , time slowing.
Dance we do again, you my ghost and i your soul
the one true love you never had
but yet your still there dancing with me
i must be dreaming, but when i open my eyes your there.. walking away with her
I know the two of you are meant to be
you don't even notice me
You will always be that boy, i notcied from a far...
The ghostly pianist
