It's Over

by Sean Dohr   Apr 27, 2006

She used to be the person,
who I would idolize.
Now, she is the one person,
who I truly despise.

I used to think she loved me,
when she looked into my eyes.
Now, when I look into hers,
I can see through all the lies.

All her sickening games,
that she used to play.
All her anguish and sob stories,
that I dealt with everyday.

Eventually, I had enough,
of all her negativity.
Her anger then, was not hers,
it was transferred onto me.

It wasn't worth ruining my life,
over some disconnected girl.
I had to stay on track,
so I could make it in the world.

I could so relate to this poem it`s kind of scary. You are so right in your message to, we need to start getting the negative people out of our lives, so we can keep our own positivity. Loved it. Keep it up :)
