The hitchiker

by michael   Apr 29, 2006

Walking down this old dirt road, where it leads i just don't know.
i ran away from the pain,
all i feel is the cold numbing rain.
the memories that i left behind,
are too hard to find,

I'm just a lost soul making my way back home, I'm a hitchhiker, all alone, i find my self missing you, i find my self missing you.

you used to laugh at all my stupid jokes, it was cold and you'd wear my coat. you'd kiss me, you missed me, thats how things used to be......

I'm just a lost soul making my way back home, I'm a hitchhiker, all alone, i find my self missing you, i find my self missing you.

i find my self asking why, i chose to live when you died, i should have let me self go. but these questions remain unanswered and i still don't know, i cant hide any more i cant confide any more, your gone your gone.

I'm just a lost soul making my way back home, I'm a hitchhiker, all alone, i find my self missing you, i find my self missing you. today.

I'm back home and I'll still alone but the memories of you haunt my dreams i see the sights i hear the screams i cant let go. i cant let go.......

I'm just a lost soul making my way back home, I'm a hitchhiker, all alone, i find my self missing you, i find my self missing you. forever, I'm missing you......
