I could defintely tell it was coming from the bottom of your heart. (Though I say it, I just don't get the saying. Wouldn't someone want to be at the top of the heart, not the bottom? Sorry, this is a result of me thinking to deeply into sayings! Haha.) But I really loved this poem. It brought tears to my eyes, it was that beautiful. It was deep and all meaningful... and even though I've never lost someone close to me, through that poem I felt like I did and that I would feel those things soon. Great job. Keep writing!

  • I loved this poem, you could defenitly tell it was from the heart!! It kinda reminded me of how i act to my mom!! You are an amazing writer!! 5/5!!! Another wonderful piece!!

Yes, it must have come from the bottom of your heart, because it was so utterly sad, *sniff* But I liked it. My own grandma lives half way across the world, and I recently went to visit her. All we could do was have something to eat together, and sit around and talk, try to catch up on a lifetime.
Well, I may not see her again, so this poem was saddening, to me, anyway.
Hey, at least you have/had her close, close enough to talk to more than once every 10 years. :-)

I loved the way this poem 'spoke' to me. Reading it was like you were apologising to me. So often apologies sound forced or halfhearted but your words come over as really sincere. The addition at the end that you wrote from the heart was I feel unnecessary. Your poem speaks for itself as coming straight from the heart.
    You have a wonderful talent.

Aww, this is such a sad poem. I know it's hard when you act a certain way to one of your relatives and when something bad happens to them, you blame yourself. I try my best to settle all conflicts in the family, just incase something happen, I know I can accept death with a clear conscious. Good poem, it really brings out the true emotions and YOUR story.

I'm sorry for all those times
I only thought about my wants and needs
When I only thought about myself
For that, my heart constantly bleeds

I think this took a way from the poem a little bit, the last line, but it was good nonetheless. Great job...and I know how it feels for I love my Grandmother very much and when I loose her I imagine I'll feel this crushed.

    Keep it up.
