Who you used to be

I look at you and all i see
is who u used to be...
u were my everything.

The one i knew would always care,
who i could rely on to be there.
i was sure we'd last,
and our friendship wouldn't pass.

i felt you would never leave
and we could forever be.
that's who i used to see.

now we're so different...
i dont know what to say,
except you didn't change,
you've always been the same.

i just didn't wanna believe
that someone like you
could be so different from me.

i wanted to inspire people,
help them be great.
i grew into a stronger person,
and you stayed the same.

i love you.
even though all i see is who you used to be.
not who u could have been.
