The Final Tock Before the Knock!

Life I am tried
But youâ??ve stayed by my side
When days I am down
And All I carry is a frown.
You let me know what you think of me
And when Iâ??m upset all you are there to make me see
Sometimes I say some things I wish I never said.
But feeling stupid in front of you is one thing I donâ??t dread!
Friend & Family are sometime hard to bare.
But you reassure me that you are always there.
With a few rings here and there
Each ring filled with care.
When I talk to you
All I hear â??Come on YOU!â?? this is your cue!
How am I to say â??I love you in each and every way!â??
And how are you to answer what are you going to say?
For a bit we talk
And then my mind locks
I want something to do
I need you too!
I want to see you! I say aloud
You say Iâ??m on my way over!
The clock starts ticking
With a simple tick-tock!
My hands start to wiggle
My arms seem to tickle
My stomach feels like it is in my throat
Oh please donâ??t let me choke
My mind starts to go outta control
I love you with all my heart and soul
Here it is the final tockâ?¦
And suddenly I hear knock-knock
My thoughts go quiet
All I can hear is my heart beating.
The room feels silent even though I know its not
I single out each and every letter in all of my thought.
That final knock is killing me
Someone open the door PLEASE!
