Naughty Clouds

by Richa Agarwal   May 2, 2006

White and fluffy clouds,
Tease me all the time.
While I sit in confinement,
They play in the sky.
Disappearing at times,
They give us a sunny day.
And then appear suddenly,
painting the sky grey.
And the white ones, with a silver lining,
With their edges shining,
Rise the hopes of our hearts,
Our hope for rain, Our hope for life.

Oh! my thoughts are heard
For they send forth their pearls of life.
Though, I know it means confinement for me,
It gives me a new joy,
For when the cool shower stops,
A rejuvenated, young nature, I'll see.
