My teddy bear

by vika   May 4, 2006

When I was five and helpless,
I was young enough to be senseless.
When everyone went to sleep at night,
My happiness reached the greatest height
Every night he would come alive,
Play and dance with me who was five.
One night he said he had something to tell,
Soon he would die and go to haven or hell.
I knew he would soon leave me,
Alone and lonely I had to be.
The night he left I cried all day,
I was sad and had no one to play.
In a few days we had to leave here,
All I would remember would be my big, brown, teddy bear.
