True friends

Friends are ones, who stand by you,
When no one supports you,
They see from your point of view.

They love you even after your love ditches you,
When you ask yourself,
‘In my pain with me would be who?’

They show you a light,
When darkness surrounds you,
They make your life all happy and bright.

They know exactly how to make you feel better,
Sometimes it’s a lovely gift,
Sometimes an assuring letter.

They are the ones with who you could talk anytime,
They know how to make you laugh,
And they stand by you always and every time.

All their stories are exaggerated a bit,
But those stories give you courage,
To face your problem and to solve it.

I do have a bunch of friends, I do have some,
But from all of them,
The true ones are none.
