Him

by Dead Eyes   May 4, 2006

He's burning in the frozen fire of his own eyes
Fighting silently to hold his disguise
Covered with maskes, protected by faces
As of his own true soul there are no traces

Who is this guy, so dark, so cold
Where is his soul, or has it been sold?
His smile is fake, so rare snd so dead
His love is possesive, filled with dread

His hands are like magic when he wants them to be
A man to play the guitar like him you will not see
But his passions burn him inside
His steps are filled with arogant pride

Who is this demon with human skin?
Why has his trust become so thin?
What drives his lust for death and decay?
Where would his black soul finally lay?

I like this one. It was different and I really enjoyed reading it. I loved some of the internal rhymes you put in! Though, just a small critique, some of your end rhymes was forced so it altered the flow of it a bit. Otherwise, I liked it. Keep Writing!

I like it, I usually am interested in love poems, or happy poems, but for some reason today I just felt like reading a fantasy one, and it was great, I totally loved it!
