That Moment In Time

When at night I lay in bed,
with memories of you still rushing through my head.

I look out the window and much to my sight,
I see the millions of stars shining in the night.

This makes my eyes water and soon there are tears.
When I think of us lying together for what seemed like years.

Then I recall that moment in time,
when u were about to kiss me. At that moment I knew u were mine.

But instead of a kiss you held me close, but I didn’t care.
I wasn’t disappointed as long as you were there.

Out of nowhere I snap back to reality, before I drift off to sleep.
And I treasure all the memories that I will forever keep.

But what I will miss the most are the little things.
Like the smell of his clothes and the gentle touch that he brings.
