Silly Dreams

by ~♪ ღ §ùÑ$µîñ€ღ ♪~   May 6, 2006

Young girl always joyful and serene.
Her smiles reveal,
True happiness.
Nobody seems to understand,
This blissful girl.
Scolded for her innocence,
For always escaping reality
And hiding safely in her dreams.

She dreams of being loved
To feel the warm touch,
By a sweet lovers hand.

Needs of wanting to share,
A life with someone who cares.
She wishes for security
Someone to keep her in their arms,
Shelter her from this vindictive world.

"Dreams are only dreams,
They will never come true."

That's what she hears every single day,
But she has learned to block it out.
Always having the hope,
Of how one day,
Her prince charming will rescue her,
From all this negativity.

Knowing that one day,
She will prove them wrong.
Show the world,
That dreams CAN come true.
Then they will finally see,
They were wrong all along.

The young girl has gotten older,
Still a young dreamer.
But something is different now.
She is no longer alone in her world.

There is someone always there.
She has found her prince charming,
And in the process,
Proved everyone wrong.

She kept her hope alive,
And now knows for sure,
Dreams do come true.
