Turn the Tables

by KitchBlood   May 7, 2006

Living with a shadow upon my lips,
Of feeling and desire all lost
In waking dreams I cant help hating
This love comes at too great a cost.

Walking each day scowling your way
But I don’t get a smirk in return
And more than if you hissed and cursed and lied
This ignorance inside makes me churn.

If a friend is what you want little boy
Then here’s what to do: move on,
I won’t be your girl or your friend anymore
That dream was of a time once upon.

I cant live with your face in my mind
As if you torment me so just for joy
Ill play with your heart like you did with mine,
In the end, your just my pathetic toy.
