Were We Ment to Be?

Were we ment to be,
A couple forever and ever?
Were we ever really
Ment to be together?

I kind of wish we were,
Because I love you so.
I love you so much,
More than you may know.

But is this what god planned,
When he made you and me?
That we would be together,
in perfect harmony?

I'm going to say yes,
As the answer of my thought.
But I will still wonder,
Whether we should be or not.
