I'm not the 13 year old you met that summer day
And you're not the 15 year old I fell for
We grew apart but separation only made me love you more
We had said some things that we should never say
Words of hate,
That we never meant
But we said 'em
We were an accident waiting to happen, weren't we?
So here we are
And your so tall
But so am I
You've lost your baby cuteness
I grew into my thighs
The summer we met and this summer now have a summer in between
And now the things we feel won't go unseen.
'Cause this 15 year old is still fallin' for this boy of seventeen
Our mom's can hate
And our dad's too
But in the end
It will always be about me 'n' You
