Wishing It Was The Past...

I miss the way we always used to talk,
The many days we would spend together,
Why did we have to end then?
Why couldn't it have lasted longer?

I tried to move on and get over you,
But it obviously didn't work,
I can never forget all those memories I have,
Not even the ones of you being a jerk...

Somehow my heart just can't let go of you,
Or it would have a long time ago,
I want us to happen for real again,
But even I know that it won't though...

Without you I feel so incomplete,
You brought out the best part in me,
I'm not sure if these feelings will ever go away,
In my mind they are always iffy...

Missing the way you made me feel,
There's nothing left I can do,
Except for wishing it was the past,
When I was there with you...
