Waited until he came

Every morning i ran up to the shore
to visit him, my love.
the rosette rays of early dawn
and the cool breeze from the sea
i felt them on my skin.

i looked into the sea
looking for any ships that brought my love
back to me.

he promised me, he would be back,
advised me, be patient, love,
the longer you wait
the more love will be.

i waited days-in and days-out
with hope and faith
waiting for my real life to be
with me. and it was a sunny day
when i looked through the stretches of sand
there he was
waiting for me to greet, with flowers of all shades
and a glow in his eyes.

my love is back,
back to me,
with all the joys, hugs and kisses.

enfolded in my arms,
there he shed tears which said
