Ocean waves

Blue, cascading waves
flowing over the sand
gleaming in the sunlight
they seem to understand
waves crashing lightly
and innocently through the days
even more beautiful at night
I love those ocean waves
so calm, light, and wonderful
like an ever-lasting breeze
so dark, cool, and shady
like the shadows from the trees
the sound of the waves
are my sweet lullabye
the comfort it gives-
I'll never say goodbye
flowing and swaying
so beautifully each day
they always seem to sparkle
