Goodbye

by Brian   May 12, 2006

Goodbye,

How can i begin to describe the bond that we have shared,
The trouble is i always thought you cared.
You were there everytime i needed you,
All that trouble you got me through.

When i was down on my luck,
you was the one that would pick me up.
You were always there, by my side,
You were there the most when i cried.

I didnt care that you were expensive to keep,
Or what other people think; they can just go leap.
When i held you people would just scatter,
but to me it was always you that mattered.

But now i know what they said was true,
no more do i have love for you.
But is it already to late,
has the growth spread at an alarming rate.

Now i am going to make sure,
that my kids you do not lure.
They will know that you are a joke,
they will know never to smoke.

So, i say these words to you Mr.Cigerette,
i am no longer full of regret.
One day you will no longer exist,
you are one thing that will not be missed.

Brian
