I tried so hard
but it was all in vain
i played all my best cards
but all i got was pain

i tried doing everything right
but she never got the point
i used every ounce to fight
but we were never meant to be joined

i gave it my all
but she would have none
i knew all i would do was fall
but i still had a little fun

i am not sure if it was worth it
but i know for sure u were hot
i knew it would never be a fit
i just wish u would have given it a shot
