How to say goodbye a mothers death

She had only 2 days to live
is what she was told

she got all her belongings
and silently hit the road

she visited her daughter
her precious little girl

thats all she looked foward to
thats all she had back home

her daughter was suprised
said mom im glad you stopped by

ive got something to tell you
but its gonna make you cry

i went to the doctor
and was shocked at his reply

mom im gonna have a baby
im greatful for my life

the mother started crying
the tears streamed down her eyes

im very happy for you
i hope hes full of life

but why are you still crying
its still some months behind

oh daughter i have a heartbreak
and this pain has killed my pride

mom im so damn worried
what is on your mind

i dont know how to tell you
and theres no way it'll come out right

i also saw the doctor
he told me i would die

i have some sort of cancer
its too late to rely

i could of cured it some time ago
but the moment passed me by

so he tells me mam im sorry
but theres nothing i can do

you have 2 days to live
the endings up to you

life is not promised to us
its only borrowed souls

god has simply figured
that its time for you to go

mom you cant be serious

but i know its only fairytale
to think ill never go

but this time when you need me
just look up into the sky

and pray ill be right by your side

when troubles at your window
ill protect you with a shield
