The end of sorrow

by Unrequited   May 13, 2006

Words bleeding. children screaming.
that cry to the unknown.
a Gothic fable, upon your table.
black hearts never shown.

a silent tear, terror that no one hears.
cold breath upon your skin.
a graveyard at night- dark, yet shining bright.
your heart, tearing within.

the woods beyond that shallow field
ignite the flames, of our death.
my ears, scream for nothing more
than the silence of your lies.
digging deeper, the sorrow in your eyes.

grasp that heart when you fall apart.
blinding patience wearing thin.
blood so cold, as the leech takes hold.
we die, buried in sin.

flames so high, as innocence dies.
and gray consumes us all.
a killer's face. the knife, cutting with grace.
i close my eyes as you fall.

and in that woods beyond the field
we toss all hope upon the flames.
my ears screaming evermore
why must you cut me with your lies?
(digging deeper) i can see, the sorrow in your eyes.

the breaking of bones
my heart, cut like stone.
your words made me bleed
now i must carry out this deed.
the end of sorrow,
a lover's revenge

words are bleeding. children screaming.
the sky, forever gray.
a gothGothicle. in blood, upon your table.
your heart will die today.

the woods beyond that shallow field
ignite the flames, of our death.
my ears, scream for nothing more
than the silence of your lies.
digging deeper, the sorrow in your eyes.
