Maybe the fact that I,m so distant,
Is because I have to fight it.
The fact that I want to hold you in my arms,
And that I can't resist all your charms.

To you I never spoke a word,
For fear of being ignored or unheard.
And one day I went up and talked to you,
It was the worst thing i could do.

I found out you liked another girl,
And my thoughts started to whirl.
Should I try and win your heart?
Or choose another, and go back to the start?

So I took my chance,
It only started with a smile and glance.
then you took interest in me,
But I was slow to see.

You didn't listen one bit,
You were just so full of it.
You thought you were better than every other.
And to listen, didn't bother.

And the day i left your company,
That instant sealed my destiny.
You made my life Hell's living place.
Until I could no longer show my face.

And today,
I still don't understand why you acted that way.
Because the pain went strait to my heart.
