If i wish upon a shouting star
it would be 2 be where u are
you make my life all so sweet
and everyday u sweep me off my feet
u make my dreams a wish from my heart
to be just like you sweet funny smart
my dream makes it seem so real
but the only thing thats stopping us
is the way you feel.

    Hey this is really good...it's sad too though. but good job at writing it..and to answer your question...i write poems about how i feel and that's where everything comes from..with the poem "secret love" i just tried to write how i would feel if i had feelings for someone and didn't know how to tell him...thanks for the comments though...and your poem is really good.
