What If.

by BloodShotEyes   May 16, 2006

What If my tears could fill the sea...
And your memory planted the trees.
Maybe God would bring you back to me.

What If the sky was lite up by your smile..
And the wind blowing was your every breath..
Maybe God would loan you to us again for just a little while.

What If I heard your laughter as often as the birds sing..
And your foot steps like every strike of thunder.
Maybe he\'ll understand, If he knew how much happiness it would bring.

What if the twinkle in your eye, Was enough to set the stars in the sky.
And the Joy you brought into my life was enough to hang the moon.
Maybe then God wouldn\'t have made me tell you good-bye.
