Love prying open

by Mark   May 17, 2006

With the jaws of love,
Prying open your heart,
You sit and cry in pain,
Yet you're so far apart.

You hold your fists tight,
While you wheep and cry,
Your heart being ripped in pieces,
The people won't let you by.

Screaming out in pain you try and break free,
But it doesn't work.. it's just you and me.
Trapped in my evil world, of anger and pain,
With a life like this.. there's nothing to gain.

I know you're hurt.. hurt by my ways,
But you'll never see.. any better days.
This is only a sample of what's yet to come,
You can't end this pain.. not even with a gun.

Your heart has been torn in half,
You do everything you can.. but laugh.
You're deeply hurt, in too much pain and agony,
You ask why I picked you.. you are my one and only.

You just give up, and let yourself drop,
Your body hits the ground hard I could hear it flop.
Heartbroken and left alone,
The only one, never to return home.
