A Dance with Death (El Tango de la Muerte)

A Dance with Death (El Tango de la Muerte)

(El Tango De La Tentacion)- The Tango of Temptation)

A piano strikes the foreboding chord
As the spotlight beams down upon her
A ripped black dress and fishnets
A figure of lust, a creature of desire
Piercing eyes under her thick mascara
The look of deepest regret on her face
As she stands there waiting for her doom
A second shadow steps into the light

Tension glares the space between them
His mysterious strength captivates her
Then a violin stunningly splits the silence
as their bodies drastically collide into one.

Cruel lust stabs the partners like a dagger
His fingers rush down her waist and hips
Her breath becomes hollow as desire takes hold
Her skin tingles with the pain of pleasure
Spins and turns of suspicion, her flowing skirt
She pulls out of the turn but he flings her back
Holding her hostage in his strong dark arms
Lips caressing her neck and all struggling ends
Forceful hands diminish any chance of escape now...

This deadly dance of desire
this dance with death...
giving in to the passion
with every harsh breath.
There was never any trust
In this tango of cruel lust.

An orchestra in the background
playing out its seductive tone
sharp movement, slow destruction
Slipping, sliding away into insanity
They dance the tango of temptation.

Foul jealously captures her eyes
Anger and suspicion lash out
as the candles flash out
Now all is dangerously dark
and she is thrown from his arms.

This deadly dance of desire
this dance with death...
giving in to the passion
with every harsh breath.
There was never any trust
In this tango of cruel lust.

Falling to the black dance floor
A glass heart shatters to pieces
He stands over her in dominance
Pleading eyes threaten him...

His hands roughly pull her back
pulling, stripping her clothes
She struggles hopelessly...
The sound of ripping threads
are heard with her startled gasps.

Betrayal and hate is sealed with a kiss
His body warms the cold air on her skin
Weak and vulnerable, she clings to him
All dignity and pride has been vanquished
She no longer gazes in his eyes, ashamed.
Letting him intensify the lust and regret
His eyes and hands roam down her body
Only taking, only hurting, only killing.

This deadly dance of desire
this dance with death...
giving in to the passion
with every harsh breath.
There was never any trust
In this tango of cruel lust.

She pleads one last attempt of love
But he refuses and pushes her away
She knew she was being deceived
She knew he would carelessly leave
Leaving her alone with her guilt.

because in the tango de la muerte
Lover's hearts are thrown away
and in this dance with death
Love is destroyed in every breath.

Nice poem lala, this guy sounds a bit abusive though.I can see some of the relations of this poem to real life. I like how you twisted it to make it sound threatening and "the deadly dance of desire" is a propelling line.
