Just How Much You Love Me

by Phoebe   May 21, 2006

The painful tears I cry at your absence,
Are what makes my soul so weak,
But your presence makes me stronger every time,
And keeps my heart alive, but incomplete.

A day without happiness is a day that's wasted,
But a day without you are hours that never existed,
My lonely heart calls for you through shadows,
And with every butterfly I see I send a kiss to you.

For every smile you give me, I will give you two,
The beauty you behold, captivates me,
In your eyes I see the secret world,
That only you and me belong to.

My darling, if you should ever cry for me,
Allow me to feel your pain,
When we are together we can fight our lonely hell,
And help one another to cope.

I wish you could hold me through the nights, so black,
Filled with broken dreams and deep despair,
My self conscious heart is hearting, and secretly,
Longs for the confidence to be free, and true.

You release the me I want to be,
And remind me of the dreams I love,
And your touch against my skin, so soft,
Is like an angels, sent from above.

So next time that I miss your face,
And I'm crying the tears of pain,
I'll pick up the phone, and give you a call,
And I'll hear you tell me again,
Just how much you love me.
