What Mother's Day Is This?

by Jenn   May 22, 2006

Today is the day you'll know what it's like
To have your hands ripped off
And your legs tied together
You're nothing without me
You bastard of a child
When will you see?
You've cheated me
And lied to my face
When I am your MOTHER!
I pushed you out and if I could push you in I would do it again
Who was that sweet little baby I saw?
With the glossy eyes
And soft, inncoent jaw?
Now you run away
With your nimble hands
And thick strong legs
Faster than dear ol' mommy can move
Come back to me darling
So I can call you my own
I swear that's what I meant
When I told you at the dinner table
"Today is the day you'll know what it's like
To have your hands ripped off
And your legs tied together"
