Pain

The pain feels so normal
It makes me feel alive
While being happy feels so formal
Darkness seems so safe
Somewhere to hide
In the light I feel out of place
Wrong seems to fit me so well
Something to depend on
Right seems like it would be hell
Terror seems so comfortable
I wish you all could just see
How much this pain does to me
It is who I am
