A Graduation Poem (dedicated to the SCL class of '06)

by Kevin Dizzle   May 24, 2006

The years have gone by,
and we have all changed.
Will we stick together,
or our lives be rearranged?

The games we have played,
are now long gone.
Now we'll only think
of who to take to the prom.

Leaving our home
that was for five days a week.
On graduation day,
I probably wont speak.

I won't say a word,
I'll keep the air in.
I'll just remember how
these years together have been.

I'll remember the classes, teachers and all.
I'll remember the way
we ran down the hall.

I'll remember the lunches,
the gossip, the fun.
I'll remember each person, e
ach and everyone.

I'll remember my friends,
The ones who stood true.
The ones who kept me up,
when i felt blue.

All the times..
whether good or bad,
When i leave,
the memories will make me sad.

So as graduation nears,
with every breath we take.
Hold your breath....
and make it last....

"And now whatever way
our stories end.
I know you have rewritten mine,
by being my friend."
