About a boy and a girl

by Toni Ann   May 25, 2006

A teenage boy and girl walked slowly down the street.
The girl had long, brown hair with blond highlights in it, intense, dark brown eyes, and there were tears in her eyes.
She was about to cry.
The boy had dark, curly, brown hair, hazel eyes, and just told the girl he was falling out of love with her.
As tears were streaming down her face, he hugged her; she could feel his heart beat like thumping in his chest.
She knew he was lying.
She looked deep into his eyes.
By the way he was holding her in his arms, she could tell he cared.
He could smell lavender in her soft, long hair.
He pulled away like he didn\'t care
Deep inside, he really did love her.
He kissed her one last time; on her breath, he tasted peppermint gum.
He said good-bye, he turned and walked away.
She was left behind, and he just threw everything they had away.
She ran home, jumping on her freshly made bed and could not stop crying.
Because she is still in love with him, she can\'t stop crying to this very day.
