Our History

by J Lo   May 25, 2006

When we were younger, we were full of innocence
Everything that people said never made any sense
We were growing up and trying to find our way
Most of the experiences we had shaped us to who we are today

We were as close as two people could get
The light that dwell within was always lit
Everyone always used to say that when we get older
that our hearts would mold together

We denied all the ridiculous insinuations
It was just friends, God's most beautiful creation
but as fate would have it
I fell into it like a bad habit

They had predicted what would unfold
Now you must be told

I am in love with my best friend
These definitely are some feelings that I did not intend
to feel for you because it could only bring upon a curse
This would be something I could not handle and it would be the worse

I'm telling you today
In hope that you feel the same way
tell me I am not to late
Please say you will accompany me on a date
