Roses are Red

Ms. Lustig,

Roses are red,
Your students are "blue"
Just thinking of 3 years,
Not in class with you.

Grammar is boring,
Unless you are here.
With you leading us,
we faced books without fear.

We've enjoyed all your stories,
Of your dogs, and the past,
But now we're just sad,
That our time will not last.

The time just flew by.
Just begun, now it's ending.
Our minds have been filled,
But our hearts now need mending.

We know that your future
Will be bright like your smile.
Have fun, maybe think of us,
Once in a while.
