I'm Sorry For The Hurting

by Lauren Beam   May 27, 2006

I have gotten over this,
your still holding on to what was lost.

i have stopped crying,
your still wiping tears away.

i have talked about my problems,
you ignore yours.

i say no more,
you say "one last chance".

i say "good-bye",
you say "one last dance".

i hate to tell you,
you don't want to hear it.

I'm sorry how things turned out,
you can't stop thinking how to make it better.

there's no way you can babe,
your too late, it's over...for good.

I've moved on.

    Wow.
Your comment on my poem made me speechless. My ex-boyfriends name is Michael. And my name is Lauren, like yours. And you say you've felt the same pain as me. And I'd love for you to help, I'd love to email you. But my computer crashed and I'm on my parents, but when it gets fixed can I email you?
Thanks a lot for the comment, I really needed to hear it.
And this poem is how I want to be...it's beautiful.
