I Love You

by sarah   May 28, 2006

I love you,

Not only for what you are,

But for what I am

When I'm with you.

I love you,

Not only for what

You have made of yourself,

But for what

You are making of me.

I love you,

For the part of me

That you bring out;

I love you

for putting your hand

Into mine

And passing over

All the silly,stupid things

That you can't help,

But laugh at.

I love you for

seeing my inner beauty,

When no one else had,

And when sometimes I try

To hide my feelings and pretend

To be happy, you sense

Something is bothering me,

When no one else See's it.

I love you, because you

Are helping me with all

This mess and confusion in my life,

When it's not a happy time.

I'm glad you're in my life, because

I know that I can tell you anything,

And you won't tell anyone, And I can be

My weird self around you.

I love you because when I'm

sad, I know you'll be there to

Comfort me in your arms and I feel

Safe and loved.

I love you because you

have done so much for me

than anyone could, to make me a

better person with confidence in myself.

And that's more than any fate could have,

Done to make me happy.

You have done it,

Without a touch,

Without a word,

Without a sign.

You have done it,

By being yourself,

Perhaps that is what

A loving relationship

Is after all.
