Who Needs Luck?

by Stumbling Shaman   May 30, 2006

Can't believe that we're still here
Even after all these years
Always getting lost in our games
But at least we never gave up
We've both changed, yet to me you feel the same
You put it down to faith, I say it's only luck

God only knows where to from here
Matters only as much as where we've been
You strike me down, grant me the gift of fear
Reveal all the heartache that you've seen
I make amends while screwing it up
I still say it's all down to luck

Now with just your memories here
I'm afraid that you are not
Both run dry of our tears
Hope for the future is all I've got
Forgotten all those games of hearts and such
I knew it only came down to luck

A few years on, only the moment is here
The one that never passed on
Once again with you my dear
I finally remember our song
Rekindling the dance, we both stand up
With you my Love; there never was such a thing as luck
