To My Girls

by Jhem   May 30, 2006

I remember the first time i was forced to leave your side.
We all cried.
and i remember i realized that you guys were the most important thing in my life.
i remember you were the only ones there when i needed advice.
and i remember you were the only ones that cared if i was all right.
but i felt i had to leave.
To be with somebody i thought loved me more than anybody.
But it wasn't that way.
and i see these days.
that a lot has changed.
and that I'm lost without you.
and how much i doubted you.
Amy was absolutely right.
you never know what you got till it's gone.
but I'm holding on.
to the memories we share.
and i know you're all here.
so i hope you can understand that i made a mistake.
but having regrets just isn't me.
so i sit back and think.
about how no boy can replace.
the love you all gave.
