The Sound Of Goodbyes

Heartbreak is something that comes from the mind,
When happiness and love seems so hard to find.
You won't see the pain that lies deep within,
And yet loving you now is no more than a sin.
Sometimes true love is so hard to let go,
And I love you more now than you'll ever know.
Nothing you say will I forgive nor forget,
I've followed my heart and this is what I get.
I wish you would love me now as you did before,
I hear the word love and forget what its for.
I sit straight and wonder what brought these tears to my eyes,
And I've found one good answer: The sound of goodbyes.
