Awhile

Thoughts of you surround
I can't get you out of my head
I lie awake and sigh at night
Looking at stars from my bed

If I could I'd give you all those stars
And make it worth your wait
But you're giving me time to think this over
Because maybe you're a mistake

I can't seem to get this off my chest
This burning desire so deep
If I had wings they'd bring me to you
Watch you quietly while you sleep

And think of me and smile
