A friendships value

by lauren   May 31, 2006

If a child loses his parents, he is called an orphan
If a women loses her husband she is called a widow
But when a man loses a friend
No words will show

A friend is indefinite
All should have their own
To love and to nurture
to adore like their own clone

a friendship is something rare
only seen in the eyes of the two
a friendship cannot compare
to any other love, old or new

words can be heard to and from anyone
words gone unspoken can only be heard by a friend
a rare and valuable relationship
only friends can increase and mend

a tear can show anyone your pain
only a friend can see the wrong through your smile
but no matter what happens in the end
a friend will walk beside you throughout the miles.
