I Cried

I wish I could hold them in,
these tears I cried.
I fought but didn’t win,
and so in bed I cried.
It hurt so much,
how you broke my heart.
I never new that such,
a heart could be shattered apart.
I cried after you left,
because I didn’t want you to see me cry.
My love shall forever rest,
only to allow love to hide.
You shattered my heart,
so broken down I could only cry.
And now that see we’re far apart,
still I cried.
