That summer

The air was still
as you grabbed my arm
we walked for what seemed miles
till the shore followed the horizon
the tides swinging in
you turn and say surprise
we kiss as its our first
only to turn and see the sun drift
far away down the past lake
as water brushes past our feet
tickling every spot
we laugh as another summer night past
and wake up next and relive it again!!
