Dark highway

by Stephanie and Laura   Jun 1, 2006

The rain poured and pounded against the wind shield, leaving only the trace of tears against the window pane

the drops of water hitting the toor top of the shiny new jeep pounded like thunder in her ears

she pulled over and thought about the evening and the words that were passed between too lovers

its over...im done....mistress...hate
he loved her she thought he said he did. its over... im done... mistress...hate

he was her world and when he betrayed her, her world came crazhing down. now sitting in an empty high way road with only the rain drops to pass the time she felt gone

who to turn to when her world fell apart? the world would only let her down since he was her world. she was lost confused alone on a dark high way road

maybe someone out there still wants me, she though. so she turned to her cell phone and looked through the numbers exept she found no answers

she looked to the glove box of memorys from the past but only was the memory of her world and he love and him

so she looked to the sky and looked to towards god. she felt wanted and loved and her world felt complete
so her world was made new and complete again she felt
