Transparent

by Raymond Bezy   Jun 1, 2006

For a while now I've walked this lonely road
No one to comfort, no one to hold
Looking for something I've already found
Awaking that feeling every time you're around

But I watch and I wait, looking for a sign that never comes
So I keep on moving, hiding the emotions and slipping into your shadow
Always waiting for you to see right through me
Like a scene from a movie always replaying,
I'm still here, watching your heart break
Seeing you make the same mistakes

Doubt rushes in on you and you blame it on yourself
I only wish you could see yourself through my eyes and witness the beauty that surrounds you

I've been down this road before and it always ends the same
You'll keep looking past me and,
I'll still be here waiting, watching my heart break and making those same mistakes...
